I believe all pups should be raised indoors in the home. This is very important for the socialization of pups.  All pups are handled and socialized from birth. I temperament test the pups at about 7wks of age.  It is very important to me to place the right dog with the right owner. This helps ensure a life long home for my pups.

Although I breed for show there are always pet pups available and my main goal is to find the best homes possible for my pups.  All pet pups are sold with a spay/neuter agreement.  Pet puppies are NOT labeled "pets" due to genetic or health problems.  Pets generally  have faults that are cosmetic in nature. Example- ear set not right, shoulder angles not right, Mask not proper, and many other things that you as a pet owner will never notice unless you really study the breed standard and get into showing.  These things in no way affect the life of the dog.  I do require that pets be spayed/neutered.  Show pups go on a show contract.

All dogs used for breeding have had their hips/elbows cleared, hearts are tested clear by a board certified Cardiologist, eyes are tested by an opthomologist and thyroids are tested by Michigan State University.  You can see each dogs results on their individual pages.

Puppies are seen by the vet a minimum of 2 times before going to their new homes. Vaccinations are started and wormings given as needed.  All puppies are microchipped at 7wks.

You get a lifetime commitment from me.  I consider you an extended part of my family.
